Kansas City, MO - September 19, 2024 – The 15 and the Mahomies Foundation has teamed up with KC Pet Project for a special partnership to help tackle pet homelessness. This weekend (Friday, September 20 through Sunday, September 23), pet adoptions will be only $15 for all adult dogs that weigh 30 pounds or more and all adult cats at the KC Campus for Animal Care, the Zona Rosa Adoption Center, and the Petco store at 95th and Quivira. Pets in foster homes also qualify for the special. All pets that are adopted from one of the KC Pet Project’s three locations will also receive a special 15 and the Mahomies Foundation pet bandanna (while supplies last).
“KC Pet Project is thrilled to partner with the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation to support pet adoptions in Kansas City. Through this event, our organizations will work together to highlight the importance of adopting pets and saving animal lives in our community. We thank Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, and the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation for all that they do for the children and pets of our community,” said Teresa Johnson, chief executive officer of KC Pet Project.
This collaboration is made possible through the generous support of KC Pet Project from the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation.
